Texas STEP encourages the public to help us protect our youth, and their healthy future, by submitting information regarding any violation of tobacco law you may witness. 

These can include:

	retail sales of tobacco to underage youth,
	failure to post tobacco warning signs in stores that sells tobacco products,
	outdoor tobacco advertising within a 1,000 feet of a church or a school,
	failure to possess and post a tobacco retailers permit,
	sales of unpackaged cigarettes,
	sales of cigarettes in packages containing less than twenty cigarettes, or
	minors who are in possession of tobacco products.

The form on this page may also be used to report any suspected criminal activity regarding tobacco smuggling, counterfeit tobacco permits, or tobacco tax fraud to Texas STEP, who will turn over your information to the law enforcement authorities with appropriate jurisdiction. 

If you are not comfortable using the form below to submit your tip, you can submit tobacco violation tips to tips@texas-step.org using your computer email software.  Include in your email: who committed the violation, the location of violation, the date of violation, the type of violation, and any other details that may help investigators locate the offending party.
